WHAT IS THE SELF-DETERMINATION PROGRAM?
The Self-Determination Program gives individuals and families more choice and control over how services and supports are selected and delivered.Rather than receiving services through traditional systems, participants can choose providers, create personalized plans, and build support around their unique goals, interests, and needs.This flexibility creates opportunities for more individualized support—but it can also make planning and coordination more complex.

Many individuals enter our programs through Regional Center support and Self-Determination funding.We work collaboratively with participants, families, independent facilitators, support coordinators, and service providers to help ensure goals, services, and next steps remain aligned.
